Welcome to the Mid-Willamette Valley! Nestled between the Coastal Mountain range to the west and the Cascade Mountain range to the East, our little valley is renowned for it's agriculture, temperate weather, and easy distance to the Oregon Coast, several mountain resorts, the Capital Salem, Portland, Eugene and more! Visit Local Wineries, Wonderful Restaurants and Amazing Natural Wonders ~ all within reach!

Here are some of my favorite things!

The Oregon Coast is just a quick trip over the Coastal Range. The Oregon Coast Visitor's Association is a wonderful way to plan a trip!

Newport is one of my favorite places to visit! No trip is complete without seeing the Yaquina Head Lighthouse and the Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site. Nye Beach is a wonderful beach. No visit is complete without a trip to The Chowder Bowl Restaurant for it's wonderful Clam Chowder and fresh Seafood! Shopping is lovely in the Deco District. The Oregon Coast Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Science Center are two wonderful, education opportunities. Check out the annual Seafood & Wine Festival. It always draws a crowd!

Depoe Bay is a short drive north of Newport. It's famous for it's Whale Watching. When Devil's Punch Bowl is active, the power of the ocean is on display! As you walk along Depoe Bay's boardwalk, stop in at Fuddy Duddy Fudge for a treat, or watch saltwater taffy being made at Ainsley's Taffy!

Lincoln City is further north on Highway 101. Make sure you check out the Finder's Keepers website to find the schedule for the Glass Floats that are left on the beach for beachgoers to find & take home! Great deals can be had at the Outlet Mall. Fine dining, luxury accommodations, and a stunning Golf Course are only some of what can be found at Salishan Resort. The Beach Dogs Café is also a favorite!

In The Willamette Valley

Salem is the state capital. Learn about all there is to see & do in Salem at the Salem Visitor's Center. The annual State Fair sure draws a crowd. The Gilbert House and the Salem Carousel are only some of the fun things for kids to enjoy! Want to learn more about how the state runs? The State Capital Website is one to visit!

You only have to drive North on I-5 to get to Woodburn! Shopping is easy & fun at the Woodburn Premium Outlets! Both the Woodburn Tulip Festival and the Woodburn Fiesta Mexicana are sure to draw a crowd!
