Around The Valley

The Willamette Valley is a 150 mile valley surrounded by mountains on three sides. You'll find the Cascade Mountains to the East, the Coastal Mountains to the West, and the Calapooya Mountains to the South. The Willamette River flows throughout the valley. 70% of the population of Oregon live in the Willamette Valley; which encompasses Portland, the Capital Salem, Eugene, and many more communities! I-5 runs through the valley; connecting the communities amongst an easy commute!

Where does it grow?

Did you know most of the Grass Seed, Christmas Trees, and Hazelnuts sold in North America come from our valley? The fertile land is ripe for growing almost anything you like. In spring, Tulips bloom in long rows and fields of Mint perfume the air. Throughout summer Hay crops create a rolling lawn and Berry picking becomes a wonderful way to spend the day. In fall, Pumpkin crops dot the landscape with orange. Wineries have popped up throughout the valley.

Only Hours From Anywhere

Inhabitants of the Willamette Valley are lucky enough to live only hours from so many activities and stunning natural settings! Whether you want to visit the Pacific Ocean and Oregon Coast, or you want to travel to a Mountain Resort; whether you want to see world-class windsurfing, or try to land the king of fish, you'll be within hours!
